Koh Samui’s Best Beaches

Chaweng Beach is the most popular beach on the island and is located on the east cost of Koh Samui.  Known for its white soft sand, Chaweng sports a variety of restaurants, bars, and shopping areas. If you love sun and fun, partake in water activities including jet skiing, banana boating, canoeing, and windsurfing boards.

Lamai Beach is the island’s second largest, located in the southeast corner of the island.  It’s much quieter option plus it’s less expensive than Chaweng beach.

Chaweng Cove is nearly a 20 minute drive from Koh Samui’s Airport or about a 15 minute walk from the center of Chaweng. If you like your privacy, Chaweng Cove is an ideal beach to swim and relax alone. Just no birthday suits, they’re frowned upon in Thailand.
