What are the best things to do in Hua Hin? iTravel is on a mission to find out for you this weekend.
This weekend Thailand is taking a long rest with a 5-day weekend, so iTravel kicks into gear and heads to resort-town Hua Hin. Located 200km away from Bangkok, this is Thailand’s oldest seaside resort and has the elegant appearance to prove it.
Famous for its long stretch of scenic beach – there might be only one main beach but don’t let that fool you! Hua Hin beach has many faces and many activities to keep anybody entertained. From cocktails to horse riding to sand picnics to a touch of Thai culture, we have found it and we will share it with you.
Hua Hin definitely has a personality that sets it apart from other beach destinations. It’s classy and fun, scenic and swanky. And the activities on offer here will surprise you too.
First up iTravel started our trip off in the most special and auspicious way by making merit to Monks during sunrise on the beach. It was the most perfect welcome to this resort town.
Next the team went to check out the new jungle-themed waterpark ‘Vana Nava’ then took in the sights and smells of night time food and craft market ‘Cicada Market.’
Then this afternoon we are going to find some secret beaches just out of Hua Hin and in a world exclusive – we will experience Sand Treatment! The local sand here is rumored to be filled with many minerals so a new therapy is going to be launched to make use of what nature has given. iTravel will head to Prachuap Khiri Khan to be covered in this marvelous sand so that we can emerge rejuvenated.
