Come One, Come All, to The Expat Fair Thailand 2016
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is hosting an Expat Fair the weekend of October 1-2 at Fragrant Park in Bangkok. Gates open at 10:00am and the fair runs until 10:00pm both nights.
This is a great opportunity to have fun with fellow expats, listen to some live music, and enjoy some great food. Admission is FREE.
Promoting Emerging Thailand Destinations
The TAT will have what they call the 12 Hidden Gems booths. Here they’ll introduce you to several emerging destinations in Thailand along with hands-on experiences.
Best yet, you just might get lucky and travel to one of these destinations for free! The budget air carrier, Nok Air, is providing 40 lucky individuals with round-trip air transportation with 20 tickets given out each day. For a chance to win, you must participate in the activities – but it’s hands-on, so it should be fun, right?
International Cultural Exchanges
With 110,00 expats legally living in Thailand, the TAT is also encouraging international cultural exchanges.
Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, TAT Governor said, “strong relations with people who are living and working here can help build links and confidence in Thailand among expats and their families and friends back home.”
It’s expected the Expat Fair Thailand 2016 will create a feeling of energy amongst the expat community while encouraging both expats and friends back at home to visit one of the new emerging destinations while trekking across Thailand.
