Expat Fair Thailand 2016 in Review

Exciting Weekend at Expat Fair Thailand 2016

The Expat Fair Thailand 2016 in Bangkok will go down in the history books as a well-organized, fun event. A short burst of afternoon rain certainly didn’t dampen spirits at the fair hosted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). Admission was free for the gathering at Fragrant Park the weekend of October 1-2, 2016. The casual atmosphere was a hit and many were excited to win free domestic airline tickets on Nok Air for travel within what we like to call Amazing Thailand.

Friendships and New Connections Made

The weekend fair brought expats and locals together through live musical and cultural performances combined with a great variety of eats. There was a sense of community among the crowd whom now call Thailand home. Diversity ruled and bridges were built as new friendships, even business relationships, were formed as everyone mingled. The attendees formed a true melting pot, which was well represented many cultures, nationalities, and even personalities.

Hands-on with Fun Activities

Aside from the live music and performances, there were numerous hands-on activities for all to enjoy. The event was well received by expats, including families with little ones. Individuals dressed as Storm Troopers based on the movie Star Wars even made a debut.

The great location made the fair easy to find as both locals and expats joined hands for the Food, Fun, Fair themed event! Watch our video to learn more about this exciting weekend.
