Taxis on Koh Samui are the most expensive in Thailand, they don’t use meter and you must agree a price with the driver before your journey starts.  The cheaper alternative is to use one of the islands many Songthaews, that serves as local buses and costs from 20 to 60 baht. It’s really worth and easy to get to any of those beautiful beaches. But make sure to plan it well before arriving here, it will save your money and give you more time to enjoy.
