Gypsy Carnival in Ratchaburi, Thailand

Let’s get things started with the wonderfully named Gypsy Carnival which is taking place at Tonphung Farm in Suan Phueng, Ratchaburi from Saturday 6th to Sunday 7th January. The carnival promotes itself as a music and lifestyle festival featuring a whole host of artists and bands of every imaginable musical persuasion. It also features a camping zone, a picnic zone, a flea market as well as lots of fun games & activities. Festival Tickets are priced at 1600 Baht and are available online at Thai Ticket Major.

Madonna Themed ‘Dudesweet’ Party

Next up it’s time to dust off your conical bras and get ready to vogue as Bangkok’s longest standing indie club night Dudesweet is back again with their first ‘Dragsweet’ party of the year and yup you’ve guessed it, the night’s theme is Madonna. So if you want to get into the groove and express yourself, head on down to Tapas on Silom Soi 4 on Saturday 6th January to justify your love for the undisputed queen of pop.

Electro House Sensations Jewelz and Sparks at Bangkok’s RCA

If you’re in the mood to dance but Madonna really isn’t you thing, fear not for there are plenty of other parties for you to choose from including a night with German duo Jewelz and Sparks who will be bringing their high energy electro and progressive beats to the Odyssey room of ONYX at Bangkok’s RCA.

Sapporo Snow Festival in Japan

Time to cool off now, and what better way to do so than with a look at the Sapporo Snow Festival, which will be held from February 5 through February 11 in Sapporo, Japan. The event features spectacular snow and ice sculptures and attracts more than two million visitors from Japan and across the world.
