Hua Hin Food Festival 2016
Running from 1-31 August, this culinary extravaganza is an event not to be missed and is sure to thrill foodies from all walks of life. Held at The Queen’s Park, Hua Hin Beach, Prachuap Khiri Khan, the festival will showcase the extraordinary culinary talents of chefs from hotels and restaurants all across Hua Hin. There will also be a variety of shops and stalls selling mouth-watering dishes at reasonable prices – and if that wasn’t enough to entice you, the event will include compelling entertainments such as ice carving contests, fruit carving, and mini concerts.
Mini Light and Sound Show: Story of Sukhothai
Sukhothai is well known for its mesmerizing miniature light and sound shows, and this year will be no different. At 7:30pm on 5 August, Wat Sra Sri at the Sukhothai Historical Park will be hosting another light and sound extravaganza, showcasing various aspects of the ancient city’s rich cultural traditions and heritage. Please arrive 30 minutes before the show is due to start. Admission is free.
Thailand Best Shopping Fair 2016
If you love nothing more than a bit of retail therapy then this is definitely the event for you. Running from 6 – 14 August at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani Hall 1-8, a gargantuan shopping area of over 47,000sqft, this fair will see an impressive variety of items and goods on sale. Whether you’re interested in purchasing some new furniture, some houseplants, electronics, delicious food, spa products or jewelry, you are sure to find a section to suit you. Shopaholics are guaranteed to be in seventh heaven here, so prepare to whip out that credit card and let the fun begin!
