North Face 100 Trail Running Event in Khao Yai, Thailand
The North Face 100, now in its fourth year in Thailand, will take place on Saturday 30th January in the picturesque district of Amphoe Pakchong adjacent to Khao Yai National Park. Whether you are an aspiring beginner or a seasoned racer looking for a new challenge, this trail running event has established itself as one of the most popular trail running events in Asia, mixing challenging long distance runs with beautiful scenery and local culture. Thailand International Jazz Conference 2016
This weekend jazz enthusiasts will be heading over to Bangkok’s Mahidol University for the annual Thailand International Jazz Conference 2016, a three-day extravaganza of world-class jazz performances, workshops and improvisation competitions. Tickets are available from Thai Ticket Major, from 500 baht for a one day clinic pass to a 3,000 baht all access 3-day conference pass.
Ikebukuro CD and Record Festival in Tokyo, Japan
Heading over to Japan now, where the Ikebukuro CD and Record Festival will be held in Tokyo from the 29th to 31 January. The festival brings together one of the largest gatherings of CD and vinyl lovers in Asia. With hundreds of stalls selling music of every imaginable style you are almost certain to come away with some exciting additions for your music collection. So if you’re in japan and you’re a music lover you really do need to check this one out.
