Press Conference of the Opening Ceremony of the 2015 Discover Thainess Campaign
If you are a frequent visitor to Thailand and have a great love for all things Thai, or if you have yet to visit the Land of Smiles but want to know more about this beautiful country and its rich culture, then be sure not to miss next week’s grand opening ceremony of the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s “2015 Discover Thainess” campaign.
Held in conjunction with the Thailand Tourism Festival which runs from January 14-18 in Lumpini Park, the opening ceremony will take place on January 14 in front of the Siam Discovery Centre and will include a vibrant parade and a host of exciting activities. The parade in particular is sure to be a major highlight of the proceedings as it journeys from Rama I Road to Ratchaprasong Intersection, where it will then turn into Ratchadamri Road before winding up at Lumpini Park.
The aim of 2015’s “Discover Thainess” campaign is to showcase Thailand’s many dazzling attributes, as well as to preserve and promote Thai culture and traditions, and the grand opening ceremony is sure to serve as a fitting launch for this campaign. The event is also guaranteed to enthral and delight on its own merit, as it will feature over 1000 performers and celebrities – and guess what, there is no entrance fee and therefore no reason whatsoever not to attend and experience the wonder and magic of Thailand, its amazing people and exotic culture!
