Monkey Festival 2015 in Lopbrui, Thailand

On Saturday, November 28, and Sunday, November 29, make the journey up to Lopburi for the annual Monkey Festival. Here, monkey’s have taken over the iconic Khmer ruin, Prang Sam Yot, which originally was a Hindu shrine. Discover the inhabitants, hundreds Macaques which enjoy a diet of crabs. Come and listen to the music while watching unique dances, by humans and monkeys alike. The festival starts at 10am. Located 150 kilometers northeast of Bangkok, you can easily visit as a stop on the northern railway line to Chang Mai.

River Jazz festival 2015 at Asiatique The Riverfront in Bangkok

Sunday the 29th is the River Jazz festival at Asiatique The Riverfront in Bangkok. Come and listen to Lisa Ono, a great Japanese interpreter of contemporary bossa nova, along with the Spyro Gyra jazz fusion group and Foam Keteta, the youngest arranger and pianist in Thailand. Tickets are available through Thai Ticket Major. Concert starts 6pm.

Sir Elton John “All Hits Tour in Bangkok” 2015

Superstar Sir Elton John visits with his “All Hits Tour Live Bangkok” Gates open at 8pm at the Impact Arena. Do the Crocodile Rock with Sir Elton along with other hits including ’Rocket man’, ‘Bennie and The Jets’, ‘I’m Still Standing’, and more. The band includes Davey Johnstone on Guitar, Nigel Olsson on the Drums, Matt Bissonette on Bass, John Mahon on percussion and Kim Bullard on the keyboards.

Nok Air new service to Hanoi
