Ep2: Pia Wurtzbach Discovers Unique Thai Local Experiences

Exploring Temple Grounds

Her Last destination for the day was a visit to the famous Wat Pho. Wat Pho or Wat Phra Chetuphon is one of the largest temple complexes in the city which is famous for its giant Reclining Buddha.

Visiting this old temple has given Pia the concepts of how Thai culture works as a whole.

Pia walked through the hallway of the temple and walked around the temple grounds before taking part in the traditional merit of placing coins in the bowls. She received a gift from a monk and gave gratitude. Pia enjoyed her experience and was taken aback at how beautiful the temple was. She was only 2 arm’s length away from the impressive 46 meters long and 15 meters high Reclining Buddha which she couldn’t believe as not many people are allowed to be so close.

Throughout the day Pia made sure to take her own camera along and grab as many happy snaps as she could to be able to share her experience with her friends and family.
