Thailand’s push to be seen as the Ultimate Destination for Sports Tourism in Asia.

The event ran from 8 to 10 June, at the Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre (CMECC) and helped to cement Chiang Mai’s reputation as an important gateway to North Thailand and its Mekong Region neighbours Laos and Myanmar.
Sports Tourism in Thailand
One of the major theme’s of this year’s event was Thailand’s sports tourism potential, reflecting a major push by the Royal Thai government to position the Kingdom as a dream destination for sports enthusiasts, by promoting its world-class sporting facilities, wide-ranging expertise, and reputation for hosting successful regional and international sporting events and tournaments.

Thailand is also home to an excellent maritime infrastructure, perfect for boating enthusiasts to pursue their passion.
