After exploring the feeling around the country, the importance of a trade show like TTM Plus for Thailand’s tourism industry is huge. With expected revenue from tourism being forecasted at 22 trillion baht for 2015 alone, Thailand remains a major player internationally.

Buyers and Sellers at TTM+ 2014

Representatives from 399 organizations attended the trade show as sellers with booths – an increase of 1.27% from 2013. Most sellers were from Southern Thailand and Bangkok, followed by the Northern, Central, Eastern, and Northeastern regions. Sellers from the Greater Mekong Sub-region countries comprised 4.05% of total number of sellers – an important and growing part of the show. A representative of this region gaining global traction is the Myanmar Tourism Federation who have attended TTM plus since 2006. A total of 46.7% of the sellers expected their sales revenue to increase this year as a result of business done at the TTM Plus 2014.
