Feel Restaurant Yangon
First off, the most impressive part about this restaurant is the owner shares the profits with the staff. With that out of the way, the cuisine is incredible!
Watch Natalie have a go at cooking in the kitchen, our interview with the owner, and Robbie, our guide from seven star tours, explains all the great dishes.
Padonmar Restaurant in Yangon
This legendary restaurant’s name means lotus flower. It’s setup at an antique house with beautiful gardens and here you’ll find both Burmese as well as Thai dishes. One of the best is their lentil soup plus word has it, their curries are some of the best in town — speaking of that, check out the prawn curry along with the banana blossom dish. Finally, don’t miss our interview with Sony, the owner.
Yangon’s Shan Yoe Yar Restaurant
For the final meal of the day, dinner, we sampled Shan cuisine, which originates from a state in the north east of Myanmar. Natalie commented she’d never seen most the dishes before, but our guide Robbie, with Seven Star Tours provides a compete rundown of the food.
Guide to Yangon’s China Town
Perhaps not a complete guide, but watch as Natalie visit’s 19th street and visits China Town. So much delicious food but with so much food already, choices are difficult. Here you’ll find a mix of both locals and travelers all looking for inexpensive but yummy bites to eat. Watch the street vendors and as we order local delights such as BBQ.
