Upcycling the Oceans in Koh Samet
The ‘Upcycling the Oceans, Thailand’ opening event was recently held at the popular island of Koh Samet, in the effort of making a difference in the environment. The project focuses to help clean up the oceans.
It not only aims to transform the plastic rubbish into thread to make fabric, but also to preserve the environment and keep the ocean crystal clean throughout the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea, especially in major tourist hot spots.
Thailand has become the first Asian Country to join this initiative with the island of Koh Samet becoming the first stop in the ‘Upcycling the Oceans, Thailand’ program.
