Yukinoya Japanese Restaurant Offers the Best of Both Worlds
The Yukinoya Japanese Restaurant is located at the Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas. The restaurant features a modern décor and it’s tastefully decorated in dark woods and bamboo.
The restaurant features two popular types of Japanese dining, under one roof. They have a range of Japanese sushi and sashimi dishes which will satisfy diners craving the delights of a sushi bar.
However, they also offer teppanyaki-style dining, which features all the showmanship of the chefs on display.
Signature Dishes at Yukinoya Japanese Restaurant
The restaurant has three signature dishes which highlight the skills of their Thai chefs in preparing and cooking Japanese dishes.
Yukinoya Poke is a dish that showcases both Japanese ingredients and preparation methods, while adding a bit of Thai flavors and spice in a delightful meeting of two cuisine styles. The dish consists of Ahi tuna, Jalapeno, avocado, chili, coriander, shallot, Ponzu dressing and smoked salmon caviar. It’s a colorful, flavorful and spicy way to start the evening.
The Sashimi Platter is a dish designed to be shared with a companion. It consists of a large combination platter of Tuna, King Salmon, Hamachi, Sea Bass, Tako and Crab stick. These are all lovingly and tastefully carved and presented.
The Yukinoya roll is a different take on the classic sushi ‘roll’. The Yukinoya roll is presented as a ball slightly larger than a golf ball. The combination platter consists of 6 pieces and you have your choice of: Tajima Beef, Akami Tuna, Hamachi, Salmon, Avocado and Tako.
The Striploin Teppanyaki Set is a dish worthy of meat-lovers from all over the world. Their signature, premium, imported Australian Striploin is finely marbled and served with their signature, hibachi vegetables and garlic rice.
What Else is on The Menu?
The restaurant also features a range of fresh and hand-prepared sashimi and sushi. It’s enough to make any sushi bar-lover a happy diner.
But, for hot food fanciers and those wanting some entertainment along with their meal, nothing can beat the restaurant’s teppanyaki cooking. The chefs put on a show while they masterfully prepare their teppanyaki dishes over a hot griddle with all the culinary skills that show their years of experience and the flair of circus performers.
The restaurant offers both meat and fish options and include your choice of: Tajima beef, Lobster, Australian Tenderlion, Foie gras, Scallop, Seabass, Tuna or Salmon. All of the Teppanyaki sets also include Salad, miso soup, hibachi vegetables and garlic rice.
